Hanovia was founded in 1924 and has been at the forefront in development of Ultra Violet (UV) technology for disinfection and chemical reduction applications for Industry. Hanovia is celebrating 90 years of research, development and engineering of non-chemical water treatment systems that provide bio-security in various industrial applications where water and other liquids such as brine and sugar syrup are used to manufacture products. Various other industries today use Hanovia systems, such as the leisure industry to provide high level of water quality.
From our company headquarters in Slough, UK we have teams of scientists and engineers that design, develop and manufacture advanced UV systems for the wide range of industrial and leisure applications. Hanovia operate on an international level and provide support to a growing global customer base, with offices in China and the USA including an extensive network of distributors. Hanovia uniquely manufacture various types of UV lamps from their location in the UK that are designed to provide a complete UV solution. This allows Hanovia to not only provide customers with UV systems but also services as research and testing on future application requirements.
Hanovia has delivered more than 50,000 UV systems World-wide, and to support this ever-growing customer base we operate a comprehensive after-sales service and support operation called UVCare.
For the past 30 years Hanovia has been a part of Halma plc, a British engineering group specialising in safety, health and environmental industries, with combined revenues in excess of £600 million. Halma is listed in the FTSE 250 on the London Stock Exchange (ticker: HLMA) with a market capitalisation of over £1 billion.
