Our highly responsive and collaborative team is comprised of 45 employees who are focused, capable and passionate about what they do. As we don’t suffer from a large bureaucracy, we are able to address issues as they arise and provide the attention of our senior staff to all of our projects, all of the time.

Our History: over 20 years of experience in beverage packaging
Descon was founded in 1993 in Concord, Ontario. Our two founders, David Farquhar and Geoffrey Oliff, have both spent their careers entrenched in the world of beverage packaging. They first met while they were both working for Coca-Cola, where both men played integral roles in the development of new lines and process improvements. It was during this time that they honed their skills and developed the philosophies that are cornerstone to Descon's success more than 20 years later.
Today, Dave is Descon’s president and leads the Descon team in the creation of innovative solutions for conveyor systems tailored to the needs of beverage and liquid-food packaging.
