Vacuum conveying is preferred if the system holds a moderate pipe length - thus providing a minor pressure drop (i.e. below 0.5 bar), one or more intake points, and only one discharge point. Vacuum conveying is an efficient conveying method, automatically ensuring a dust-free duct intake and at the same time making it possible to utilize the transport air for aspiration around the intake points. The piping is available in different standards - mild steel or stainless steel - assembled with easy-to-detach sleeves. Vacuum conveying systems are supplied for products such as grain, peas, linseed husk, rice husk, ash, sodium bicarbonate, coal dust, and dyestuff.

    Pressure conveying
When the distance is too long for vacuum conveying (i.e. pressure drop in excess of 0.5 bar) pressure conveying is the optimal solution, or in case of only one intake point and a number of discharge points. Pressure conveying is an efficient conveying method if the proper steps are made to remove any dust from the intake point area.

    Special features:
    Vacuum Converying
    Dust-free product intake
    One or more intake points
    Only one discharge point
Moderate distance between intake point(s) and discharge point
Aspiration of the intake surroundings by the transport air
    Pressure Converying
Pressure drop in excess of 0.5 bar
    Long piping
    Only one intake point
    A number of discharge points
