This 120V/15A prewired dual control (heating and cooling) ETC is built exclusively for BREWHA by Auber Instruments. It allows one to accurately measure temperature (to within 0.1°C), regulate power to heating elements through the Power Control Box, and open and close the Temperature Control Valve solenoid on the 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 fermenters and turn the Chiller pump on and off to control the flow of chillant into the fermenter jackets.

With this sensor, the sensor cable can be connected at both the controller, and the sensor, allowing maximum flexibility since one controller and cable can be used for multiple purposes. The SBS tri-clamp sensor and cable can be purchased separately to upgrade previously purchased ETC controllers, or to permit temperature sensing and control on multiple tanks with just one controller. An 8' braided cable and a 1.5" tri-clamp compatible SBS (silicone band sensor) with 100mm probe are included with the controller.

Note—since the probe uses a DS18B20 digital sensor chip, protect it the same way you would a computer (ie. don't subject it to static or other forms of electricity as it could be damaged).
