Roll-on, Shrink-on Labeling
B & H Labeling Systems invented and patented the process of roll-fed shrink labeling in 1984. This process and the related patents were and are marketed under the Endura® brand exclusively by B & H Labeling Systems.
In the Endura process, shrinkable roll-fed film labels are applied to a container using a roll-fed labeler, and then the labeled container passes through a temperature controlled shrink system where hot air is used to shrink the label so it conforms tightly to the container.
Any B & H roll-fed labeler can be paired with a BH700 Shrink System to produce Endura roll-on, shrink-on labeled containers. Speeds of up to 500 containers per minute are available, depending on the labeler model and the containers to be labeled.
Roll-on, shrink-on system highlights:
Shrink film materials: polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyvinylchloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), and polyolefin (PO) blends
Container types: Metal, including necked-in aerosol cans, glass, plastic and composite
Container diameters: 2" (51mm) to 3.5" (89mm)
Lower label costs: versus full body shrink sleeves
