The PL-RTR is a commercial-grade router capable of networking over three phases of power. This enables TankNET® to communicate with thermostats located throughout a cellar, regardless of the power phase to which they are connected.

TankNET® power line systems are easily extended to multiple cellars either by daisy-chaining multiple PL-RTRs together with inexpensive twisted-pair cable* or by connecting each PL-RTR to the winery's Ethernet network using a TankNET® Ethernet router. In this way, an unlimited number of cellars and even winery locations can be added to TankNET® - simply and economically.
